Best and Worst Movies of 2019 by Rasik Cruden

  1. (Best) Avengers: Endgame:  This movie was the culmination of every MCU movie and was an emotional and impactful and action packed and brought together every MCU fans nostalgic dreams by going back threw the saga and was AWESOME

  2. (Worst) Cats:  The Cats movie was a lackluster and it will be taken out of theaters. The first major bad thing is very obvious: the CGI is really low quality. With all the actors in that movie I don’t know why they didn’t fix it. The second bad thing about the Cats movie is that the script is unfocused and the film as a whole is creepy and weird.

  3. (Best) Joker:  This movie was a chilling but a great portrayal of the Joker. Joaquin Phoenix was the star with his sadistic playing of the Joker won him a golden globe award. This movie went over the life of Arthur Fleck and his mental turn to Joker and the musical score, storytelling and other things made the movie great.

  4. (Worst) Dark Phoenix:  Dark Phoenix in my opinion feels like really fails to give us any reason to care about what’s going on like the script is kinda wacky and clunky. Also the plot is relatively bad.

  5. (Best) Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker: This movie wrapped up the Skywalker Saga and in pretty good way. There was good action, comedy and twists and was a good movie overall

  6. (Worst) Tall Girl: This Netflix movie was really not that good. The acting was alright the script was bad and a girl that is 6’1 which might be hard, but how are there no more tall people in her school?

  7. (Best) The Lion King (Live Action): This movie was a good version of the animated Lion King movie and I think the CGI and directing was pretty good and the designs on the characters were very good.

  8. (Best) Spider Man: Far From Home: This Spider-Man movie was one of the best of all time. There was good storytelling, screenwriting, acting and action.

  9. (Worst) Ugly Dolls: The script is pretty terrible, the voice acting is not very good and it was a forgettable movie

  10. (Best) Toy Story 4: In my opinion, Toy Story 4 was not the best Toy Story, but is was a good way to end that movie series. There was action and emotional parts, and you can’t forget Forky.
