1. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers have all around talent and have Shohei Ohthani who is back and is going to be able to pitch this year which is a huge advantage who also won MVP last year.  And also retired Teoscar Hernández who hit 33 home runs and tallied in 99 RBI’s (Runs Batted In) which is really good and also had .272 average which is a solid average for the MLB which is 22 points over the MLB average which is .250. And also have a great pitching staff which consists of Blake Snell,Tyler Glassnow,Roki Sasaki, and Michael Kopech.

2. Mets The Mets have made big deals in the offseason they signed Juan Soto for a 15 year 765 million dollar deal. Already contenders, but by adding Soto they have potential to go all the way. The Mets had a great season last year. They went all the way to the NL championship. They already have star power and with adding Soto to their roster they are clearly chasing a world series title.

3. Phillies

The Phillies came up just short in the world series in 2022 then the next year in 2023 they lost to the D backs in the NL championship, then last year 2024, they lost in the divisional round to the New York Mets. They have slowly declined in playoff performance but I believe this year is the year to have a comeback from that rough divisional round loss. They have the star power with stars like Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwrber and Nick Castellanos.

4. Braves

The Braves dropped out in the wild card round last year getting sweeped 2-0 in the series by the Padres. The Braves have a chance for a bounce back season. They have the offensive power as they finished fourth in the MLB last year in total home runs with 213  and they have an outstanding bullpen. They led the MLB with the least amount of runs allowed per game last year.

5. Yankees

The Yankees came up short in the world series last year as they lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers they lost one of their star players Juan Soto but they still have star players like Aaron Judge.

6. Guardians

The Guardians are a good team who have lots of young talent.Including Steven Kwan, Jose Rameriez, Shane Bieber, and Carlos Santana. Jose Rameriez is a switch hitter who hit really well, had 39 home runs 5th in the league, had a .279 average and 118 RBIs. I think he will have another great season and the guardians will perform well.

7.  The Royals have a solid roster of star shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and second basemen Jonathan India. The Royals had a turn around season last year, they ended up losing in the divisional round last year to the Yankees. I believe they have a good chance for a postseason run.

8.  The Orioles have a very young talented roster with stars like Gunner Henderson, Jackson Holiday, and Cedric Mullins. The Orioles have had a good past two seasons but they have struggled in the postseason. I believe their young stars are more experienced and can overcome their postseason struggles.

9. The Tigers have a young talented roster with stars like Riley Greene, Spencer Torkelson and Cy-young winner Tarik Skubal. The Tigers had their first postseason postseason appearance and win since 2014. They have a chance to be contenders in the postseason.

10. The D-back went to the world series in 2023 but lost to the rangers. They have Josh Naylor who played for the Guardians last year. He had a .243 average, 31 home runs and 108 RBI’s. Which was a solid season. I think he will have another solid season in the 2025 season.
