We have our World Series predictions at the beginning of the season as we come up on the end of spring training and the beginning of the season. Just for reference the top teams in the standing at the end of last season were:

1. Astros 106-56

2. Yankees 99-63

3. (tie) Blue Jays and Guardians 92-70

(National League)

1. Dodgers 111-51

2. (tie) Mets and Braves 101-61

3. Cardinals 93-69. 

We have both come to an agreement that we think the World Series champion will be the Houston Astros because of the sheer talent on this roster led by big lefty Yordan Alvarez and second baseman Jose Altuve. Also last season the Astros were the champions and they have gotten better at positions they needed to improve. For the National League champion we think that it will be the New York Mets because of the loaded roster that had one of the best offseasons of the year as they added one of the best pitchers in Justin Verlander.
