The Dodgers Win The World Series by Marshall Laskowski
The Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth World Series in franchise history. Freddie Freeman won the World Series MVP after an amazing series and playoffs. They beat the New York Yankees in five games, although this series was highly entertaining. The Dodgers won a thrilling Game 1 on a walk-off homer by Freeman. Then, in Game 2, LA won 4-2 in a game that came down to the wire, but was ultimately won by the Dodgers.
In Game 3, the Dodgers won 4-2 again and took a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. In Game 4, the Yanks stayed alive with a win to make it 3-1 Dodgers. However, in Game 5, the Dodgers put an end to the series with a win and a wild fifth inning to overcome a 5-0 deficit. The Dodgers partied after that and are going to be a force to be reckoned with next season with Shohei Ohtani coming back to pitch. It was a great season that ended up with the Dodgers, who were the best team all season long, on top.
