A new Star Wars movie  is coming up, although it is slightly different than the rest of the Star Wars movies . This movie, being subtitled “A Star Wars Story,”  is taking a bit of a trip back to the past, back to nineteen years after the Galactic Empire was formed.

As just about any Star Wars fan knows, the first movie A New Hope starts off with a battle in space. The purpose of this particular battle is for the Empire to reclaim the Death Star plans that was stolen from them. Later in the film, while preparing for the battle between the Death Star and the Rebel pilots, it is mentioned that a lot of Rebel soldiers lost their lives to get those plans. Rogue One shows viewers the rebel’s mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.

This film introduces almost all new characters, save a few such as Mon Mothma and Darth Vader.  James Earl Jones will be voicing Darth Vader once again and Genevieve O'Reilly will be returning to again play Mon Mothma as she did in Star wars - Revenge of the Sith. The character that the new movie is mostly centered around is Jyn Erso played by Felicity Jones. The movie will be released December 16,  2016.
