New Year, New Things by Ella Caldwell
2023 is a new and what should be exciting year. But what will come with this new year? This is what we would like to know. Keep on reading to learn about these new things coming up.
Tech
Apple has said that they might release their very own VR headset. That would be a first. They also should be coming out with a 15 inch MacBook Air, iMac, a Mac Pro and more to come. I would say the biggest is the VR headset though.
Music
There are also many new music albums playing to come out this year. In January “The Mocking Bird and The Crow” by Hardy, and “Rush!” by Maneskin. In February “Queen of Me” by Shania Twain, “This is Why” by Paramore and “Cracker Island” by Gorillaz. There is much more as well, but these are some of the albums coming out soonest.
Movies
There are many upcoming movies for this year. Some that can be listed are, “Oppenheimer”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Wonka”, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, “Avatar 3” and “Scream 6”. Again there are many more, but there are too many to list. A lot of the new movies are remakes. Many people on social media are excited to see the new “Little Mermaid” because Ariel is played by a black woman. And it’s quite rare to see a person of color star as a princess in a movie. So this is quite exciting.
Books
There are also many new books coming out this year. Some of the titles are, “How to Sell a Haunted House” by Grady Hendrix, “Happy Place” by Emily Henry, and “Spare” by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. “Happy Place” sounds like a very happy place! Hopefully you can find a good book this upcoming year.
Cars
Lots of people like cars. I’m not one of them but for those who do, here are some new cars coming out in 2023. The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, the 2023 Nissan Z, the 2023 BMW XM, the 2023 Toyota Crown, and the 2023 Honda Civic Type R. There are many more to come out this next year in 2023, but those are just some.
Gas Prices
As many have known, gas prices have been up a lot lately. But how will they be in 2023? Well, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) predicts that the average price for a gallon of gas will be $3.51.
