NFL in Review:  the 2018-2019 Season by Thomas Keller

Every year the National Football League  is watched by many people. The 2018-2019 season has passed, and this is what happened.

Starting off, The Draft. One of Penn State’s BEST players, Saquon Barkley, got drafted to the Giants, and that made the Giants a powerful team. But the Browns could have picked Saquon Barkley, because they had the first pick, but instead the Browns picked quarterback Baker Mayfield. And the worst team in the NFL, The Browns, actually had one of their best seasons in about 10 years.

The Browns had an amazing season this year because of the new players they drafted. Their new QB (Baker Mayfield) is one of the reasons the Browns had the season they had. The Browns’ first game was against the Steelers, the team with the most Super Bowl wins. Normally this would be one big defeat. But the Browns actually got the game to overtime. But not just to the first overtime and lost or won, but to the second, where they tied the game The Browns finished the season 3rd in the division.

The Patriots made to the Super Bowl, AGAIN (sigh). As usual, they beat other teams and made it to the playoffs, again. And they won the Super Bowl, AGAIN.

This year’s Super Bowl, in my opinion, was horrible. It was the Rams and the Patriots. The score was 13-3 Patriots. All 4 quarters it was only 13-3. It was SUPPOSED to be the Saints and the Patriots, but then there was a call that ruined it all, a pass interference in the NFC Championship game.  It was a bad call. .

So, the Browns did well for once, The Super Bowl was horrible, and best for last, Saquon was picked.
