Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) performed great in this pivotal game 6 for the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Minnesota Timberwolves. SGA led the team in points, rebounds and assists. He had a great supporting cast as well in this game. And that consists of Chet Holmgret and Jaylen Williams. Holmgret had a total of 21 points which helped this team a ton in this game. Williams' performance was stellar; he had 34 points, which was the second most on the team. Holmgret had three blocks in this game which can be huge down the stretch in the playoffs.
The Timberwolves did not have their best game getting only 16 points from their star player Anthony Edwards. Nickeil Alexander Walker who is SGA’s cousin had a total of 23 points off the bench and bench points are key as these points led the team. Dante Divencino had 21 points off the bench. Jaden McDaniels had a big game as well, hitting some early threes and knocking down good shots. But in the end it wasn’t enough for the Timberwolves and they took a big loss. These two teams will face off on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
