New Safety Technology Confuses Car Driver by Hely Parmar

Some new features in newer cars now include the ability for cars to automatically shift lanes if the car is drifting, or self-apply brakes to prevent an accident if the car gets too near to an object. Some vehicles are even able to park themselves.

Although these types of cars can help safety issues, people who don’t think that these highlights are useful can turn these features off. Some people could become scared if the car suddenly changes lanes, or hits the brakes. To offset this, some new cars only alert the driver to apply the brakes without actually braking automatically.
