What a Winter? By Isa Drager

As the Christmas season came and passed, I look around and what does the ground look like? GREEN! I'm telling you, green. All I wanted was a white Christmas. One would think it wouldn’t be too hard to get, but nope. Green grass and no snow anywhere. What was that all about?

This year has gone by so fast. To me, Halloween was to early this year, and so was Thanksgiving.  I'm asking you where has the year gone? I certainly haven't spend it getting great grades (a New Year’s resolution that will most likely never happen). But my question is where is the snow?

State College, PA is really annoying when it comes to weather. Here we were deep into December, and I was walking to the bus stop with one of my friends wearing a just a shirt and I was perfectly fine. It felt like spring outside. What is up with that? Fortunately, the post-holiday weather turned out to be cold.  It is winter, after all!  At least I could have looked at the world with its blanket of white snow! I would die for that. But nope, no snow. I really hope the weather people are right about snow coming soon. Let's pray for that!
