Top 10 Chips for Snacks By Aidan Murphy

March 2, 2023

10. Barbecue Lays

These are flavorful to another level. They don’t really taste like barbecue, but that artificial flavor always has me coming back for more.

9. 3D Doritos

These are original Doritos, with a hint of spice, and a fun shape. I oddly prefer these over the original Doritos like 10% of the time.

8. Cheetos Puffs

These are just a better version of crunchy. Sometimes I feel like puffs, sometimes I feel like crunchy. The flavor is oddly better though. And you can’t beat that iconic cheese puff.

7. Fritos Original

Something about these are so good. The burst of flavor and seasoning is magnificent. But the worst feeling ever is being at a birthday party and the last thing in the variety chips box is the tiny little bag of Fritos with 4 chips in it.

6. Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos

These chips have the perfect amount of spice. The flavor is downright exquisite. It has a really good aftertaste as well, but it overstays its welcome too often.

5. Spicy Doritos

These are just the original Doritos (which are higher on the list) but spicy. Which in the end makes these just another option.

4. White Cheddar Popcorners

These are really good chips. They are tasty, (I love white cheddar flavor) they leave a good aftertaste and never get boring to eat.

3. Crunchy Hot Cheetos

What a classic. Fantastic flavor, the perfect amount of spice, and great to quickly pop in your mouth. I really love these chips.

2. Sea Salt Popcorners

I am salivating at the mouth just thinking about these. So savory… Absolutely fantastic. The flavor, just everything about this chip is immaculate. That breaking bad commercial was the cherry on top though.

1. Original Doritos

Everyone knew these were going to be on the list somewhere. Where to even start? The texture, so good it rivals Ruffles Potato Chips. The flavor, so cheesy, so delectable. The tortilla chip base is great too. These are absolutely iconic. I don’t know where I would be in life without these chips.
