Delicious Foods You’ve Probably Never Heard Of Before (And Need To Try!) By Liam Scheeler

February 10, 2025

I: Desserts

Scotcharoos
An extra delicious, classic treat, more commonly found in the Midwest, is simply undeniable. Peanut butter is poured on to rice crispy cereal, and then topped off with a mouthwatering chocolate & butterscotch mixture. The dessert is frozen and served in squares. If you haven’t tried this yet, I highly recommend baking this.

Bouche De Noel

With the holidays around, the Buche De Noel (French for “Christmas Log”) is a must have. The dessert is started with a thin layer of cocoa sponge cake, then icing is added on top. The layer is ruled up to resemble a log shape. When sliced, you can enjoy the amazing flavor you’ve baked!

Peppermint Bark

Did you know that the candy cane candies you enjoy can be turned into a delicious dessert? Peppermint bark is made up of primarily just crushed candy canes and white chocolate. When poured into a thin layer and frozen, the mixture creates a tasty dessert with bark-like texture.

II. Entrees

Stuffed Peppers

Filled peppers make a great dinner when you have a lot of bell peppers laying around. It’s a classic dish served long ago. Filled peppers are cooked bell peppers filled with meat, tomato soup and sometimes even cheese. Don’t let that mislead you - they taste much better than they sound.

Chicken Piccata

This dish has a distinct but great taste, and is well served with mashed potatoes. Chicken is cooked in broth and. It's a great dish to have for dinner one night to try something new.

Cavatappi Al Vino

Cavatappi Al Vino is a dish consisting of cavatappi pasta, one of the tastiest.
