The U.S. military has always been at the forefront of creating the best fighting Air Force in the world. Below is a list of the military’s top five aircraft in ascending order:

5. F-14 Tomcat

It is capable of carrying 20,000 ponds And can go 563 meters per second (MPS).

4. F-18 Super Hornet

The F-18 Can fly 1300 miles per hour (MPH). It is amazing at dog fighting and is one of the best aircraft in the U.S. military.

3. Lockheed F-35

The F-35 can reach Mach 1 (1200 MPH). It is amazing at dog fighting and with its advanced tracking technology, it can detect other aircraft from very far away.

2. F-117 Nighthawk

The F-117 Nighthawk is a stealth bomber that cannot be detected by radar. It can carry over 5,000 lbs. of weapons, and it can reach speeds of 684 MPH.

1. A-10 Warthog

The A-10 Warthog, otherwise known as the “Tank Buster,” can travel over 800 miles without being refueled. The Warthog has very advanced weaponry, including the ability to carry over 1,000 bombs.
