Although in this Clasico, Lionel Messi would only play at the end of the game due to a knee injury.

Real Madrid hadn't played a game that poorly in a long time. The first goal was in the 11th minute by Luis Suarez. Barcelona had almost full possession and were really controlling the game. They had great passing and they were making Real Madrid run all over the place.

Madrid fans were beginning to leave partway through the second half because they were so awestruck at how poorly their team was playing. Then to close the deal Suarez was more then happy to launch one in for four. This was a game that will hang on Real Madrid shoulders for a long time.
