Hey guys, and welcome back to Top 10 Entertainment. Today we will look back at the Penn State football game at Iowa and get a preview of Michigan.
Let’s start off with Iowa. Before the game started, they showed on TV an insensitive letter that Penn State Football player Jonathan Sutherland got in his mail earlier in the week. The letter said that the writer and his wife are “older graduates of Penn State,” then after he talked about himself, the guy started talking about Jonathan’s “awful hair”. I don’t know why would they say that because that is just really wrong. That is the reason I am supporting Jonathan right now.
Anyways, back to the game. Penn State started a bit poorly on offense, but got better as the game went on. Iowa has a strong football team, so respect to Iowa. Iowa’s defense is good, and the Hawkeyes have a decent offense, too. One thing that stood out about the game and that every Penn State fan should be upset about is the referee, John O'neill. O’neill was the referee for the game and he was with no doubt against Penn State. The Nittany Lions scored 3 TOUCHDOWNS on one drive, and John denied them all for calls that never happened. Yesterday my mom told me that over 10,000 fans want John fired due to the actions against Iowa. The important thing is that Penn State won, and now they can move the hard game aside.
Now let’s talk about this week’s game: #16 Michigan at #7 Penn State at Beaver Stadium for a Whiteout game with a 7:30 kickoff on ABC. Make sure to tune in or if you are going to the game, then have fun. Michigan is 5-1, which is not a bad record this late in the season. I watched the Michigan and Illinois game that happened before Penn State at Iowa. Illinois came back and took the lead in the fourth quarter, but the bad part for Illinois is that they eventually lost. Michigan found a way to come back and win it. Remember when I said that Maryland was going to be a challenge for Penn State? Penn State won 59-0. But Michigan plays the game very well, so I know that this is going to be a challenge. Penn State needs to play the best football that they can in order to win. If there is one thing I know, it is that Michigan will not be easy and it will be very interesting to find out what happens. And that’s this week for Top 10 Entertainment. Good luck Penn State!
