Canton Bound: Rob Gronkowski by Noah and Max Radio

Tight end Rob Gronkowski is many things. He has the legs of a receiver, the strength of an offensive lineman, the mindset of an excited rookie, and the hands of a veteran tight end. He is widely known as one of the best tight ends in NFL history. He and quarterback Tom Brady share a great bond, as you would expect for a duo that has been on the same team for a decade. “Gronk” has caught the most touchdowns from Brady with an insane record of 78. The next closest is Randy Moss with 39.

Gronk began his career at the University of Arizona. In his first season, he was a freshman All-American with 18.8 yards per reception. He also set a school record for most tight end receiving yards in one season with 525. He played one more year at Arizona then went on to be the 42nd pick of the 2010 NFL Draft. In his first year, Gronkowski was an instant threat to defenses. He had 42 catches for 546 yards and 10 touchdowns. 2011 was a record-setting year for Gronk. He became the only tight end in NFL history to lead the league in touchdown receptions (17). Gronkowski has three Super Bowl wins with the Patriots and continues to shine on the field with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady.
