Two teams . . . one trophy . . . one game . . . it all rides on this game. Super Bowl LVI (56) is being played on Sunday, February 13, 2022. The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals both fought their whole way to the Super Bowl and are not intending on throwing their season away.
I think this could be a great Super Bowl, watching both quarterbacks be dominant during this season, and they both wear jersey number 9. It took 32 years to snap the playoff win drought for the Bengals. They beat the Raiders in the Wild Card Round, then beat the Titans in a low scoring game during the Divisional Round. Down 21-3 at halftime during the AFC Championship Game, they came back to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24. Joe Burrow, Joe Mixon, and Ja’marr Chase had amazing years and led the Bengals to the spot they are in right now. The Rams have been pretty well rounded all year, but came back in the playoffs better than ever. With Cam Akers coming back from an ACL tear in week 18, it gave the Rams a confidence boost to beat both the Arizona Cardinals and then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Two weeks ago they beat the San Francisco 49ers in an emotional rollercoaster of events during the NFC Championship Game and made it to Super Bowl LVI.
Now, this may be my Rams’ bias kicking in but I do think the Rams will pull out with the win. I think it will be super close, but I also think the Rams defense going up against the Bengals offensive line will favor the Rams, and that's why I am going to pick them. The official odds according to CBS Sports says that the moneyline has the Rams -200 and the Bengals +170. And I don’t know much about this but I do know this favors the Rams.
And now last, but certainly not least, the commercials. Super Bowl commercials are a main reason why so many people watch the game. There have been leaked commercials for Lays, Planet Fitness, Uber Eats, etc… I personally can’t wait to see these commercials and be able to argue with people on what the best commercials are. That's all I have for now, I hope you enjoy Super Bowl LVI!
