The Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was injured on Thursday night, after suffering an injury to the Bills the week before. In the Bills game he still came back for the second half, even after not being able to walk on his own weight.
But in Cincinnati he did not return. They brought a stretcher on the field and hauled him off, as the fans chanted “Tua!”
It is confirmed that Tua Tagovailoa is listed as having a head/neck injury and he is in concussion protocol. After their loss to Cincinnati final score (27-15 the Cincinnati Bengals) Tua did fly home to Miami with his team but with a neck brace on. He will need to clear the concussion protocol over the next 10 days to be able to play in Week 5 against the New York Jets. But if he is not able to, Teddy Bridgewater will be the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. Teddy Bridgewater only scored 3 points for the Miami Dolphins in the second half with an interception with 3 minute left on the clock in the 4th quarter that topped off the win for the Cincinnati Bengals.
