AFC Divisional Round Bills vs. Bengals Recap by Marshall Laskowski

The Bills Bengals game happened this weekend on Jan 22, 2023. The Bengals won the game 27-10 led by quarterback Joe Burrow who had 242 passing yards and threw for two touchdowns. This game was looking like the Bengals had the win from the first play. The home Bills were stunned and many fans were shocked by the result of this as the Bills were one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. The opposing quarterback (Josh Allen) had a tough day as he threw for 265 passing yards and had zero touchdowns. He also threw an interception. 

The Bengals were hot right out of the gate scoring on the first drive and scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter. It was a close game at the half as the Begnals were up 17-7 and looked like the better team.

The Bills came out in the second half by scoring a field goal. Then the Bengals came right back and scored another touchdown making the game 24-10. The Bengals  defense had been good all day; they were getting stops left and right and stopped the Bills on the next possession. 

At the end of the third quarter, the Bengals were up 24-10.Then to seal the game at the end of the 4th quarter Cam Taylor-Britt got an interception

The Bengals ended up winning 27-10. The teams ended up with 412 yards for the Bengals and the Bills ended with 325 yards. This game had a lot of stories  as the Bengals pulled off the upset to end the Bills season. As for the Bengals, they will play the Chiefs in the AFC championship in Kansas City.
