WARNING: THIS MOVIE HAS “LAST CHRISTMAS” IN IT. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GET WHAMMED, WAIT BEFORE YOU WATCH IT. IT HAS IT TWICE.
On December 8th, Disney released “Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever”. I had an after school symphonic band that night, but as soon as I got home I grabbed Dino nuggies, mac and cheese, and a root beer. I turned the movie on expecting quality and Christmas spirit. And that’s exactly what I got.
I don’t want to spoil the movie, but here is the overall plot. Greg and Rowley are rolling a giant snowball to build a snowman, but the snowball loses balance and rolls down the hill, straight into a snow plow. It broke the snowplow front and without thinking, Greg and Rowley ran away. The snow plow driver didn’t see their faces, but she saw their clothes. Greg convinces Rowley to leave their gear in a dumpster so they won’t get in trouble for property damage. Then a giant snow storm buries the neighborhood and everything goes wrong for Greg and his family.
This movie is a good choice for a funny, relaxing, and heartwarming special. It also makes you nervous about what is going to happen. It goes from a nerve wracking comedy to an amazing and sweet holiday special. This movie is the best of the Wimpy Kid series.
Some things I don’t like about this movie are Greg’s Mom because she will always make me angry. The other thing is something about a doorbell device that involved Rodrick and the parents. But I should probably stop before I spoil anything.
If you have Disney+ then you must watch this movie instantly. You will not regret it.
