Why You Should Visit Italy by Julian Nowlin

May 16, 2024

Italy is one of, if not the best country to visit. There is so much history and places there, and they are all amazing. The nature and food is also great, and the week I went to Italy was the best of my life. Here is why you should visit Italy.

Rome is the best city. It’s true. It’s filled with great food, great history, great sites, and great parks. Just being in Rome puts excitement in you. Unlike most cities, there are no skyscrapers blocking your view of the city. This is because no one can build above Saint Peter’s Basilica. It also feels like you are at the beach, which I love the feeling of.

The history is just great. The Saint Peter’s Basilica is the best architecture I’ve ever seen. It’s beautiful and amazing, and standing at the top you can see the whole city of Rome because of the skyscraper law. The Sistine Chapel is also the best piece of art of all time. The Colosseum is amazing and taking a tour of it is very cool. It’s also cool to see the forum and imagine it in ancient times.

The nature is very pretty. The trees are colorful, the coast is way better than anything in the United States, and the mountains are very big. It’s way better than any nature I’ve seen in America.

Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Vesuvius are awesome. The cities are filled with history and fun. Standing on Vesuvius, an active volcano, makes you feel nervous in a good way. You can also look into the mountain. Although it’s a lot of walking, it’s worth the work.

So, after hearing all this, visit Italy. It will make you happy.
