Two Voice Poem by Waverly Huang

Flying so fast

humm, humm, humm the wings go

long beak            long beak

sipping the nectar

                            flies around

so quick

                             so small

above the trees      above the trees

so tall                     above the walls

the

                              humming

bird                         bird

always flying           always moving

in                             infinity

a burst of color

                               across the sky

always

looking for food        looking for food

like us                       like us

A two voice poem is when two people read one part of the poem, and both parts have to go together. [As shown above.]

Both parts have to be read in sync--harmoniously in order to be a true two voice poem. Some parts are read separately, but most parts are said together.
