Ned Riddle recently won 6th grade President, and Quenton Brown became Vice President. The announcement was made on September 16, 2016. While interviewing them we were able to take out the most important points for you.
For the interviews, we had three questions that we asked each candidate: Why should you be president or vice president? How are you going to help the school? Why did you run for president or vice president?
Brown's answers included, “I will add more food in the vending machines and will recycle and TerraCycle [a company that repurposes recycled materials to make products]. I will use the money to build a playground for our school.”
Ned Riddle started off strong by stating, “You may know my brother Nolan. He is autistic. I’m going to make our school better for kids with autism and other disabilities.” Some of the candidates weren’t fully supportive of the interviews, but others we're happy to be interviewed. Do we have a good president and vice president? You will have to wait to see for yourself.
