How Technology Has Affected Students in School by Max Duverneuil

Over a single decade, technology has dominated the public school classroom. Many public schools have introduced the use of Chromebooks for their students to use during classroom instruction or even bring home. With Chromebooks being permitted at school, it allows students to use them at home while still keeping a low cost for the school district.

Many school districts such as our very own State College Area School District (SCASD) offer students to bring home a Chromebook, charger (of course), a carrying case, and, if needed, for an extra $20, Chromebook insurance that covers all incidents with the Chromebook.  As we move further toward the peak of technology usage, students are starting to have higher interest in computer-related career fields.

Overall technology has recently been taking over the public school classroom in to a more digital classroom and many students believe that this change is here to stay and will continue to be improved.
