Teacher Spotlight: Herr Strock by Jennie Varrassa and Rylee Troup 

Today we interviewed the amazing German teacher Herr. Strock. Here’s what we learned about him:  

Favorite Season:  Fall 


Favorite things to do as  when you were  a kid: Biking, Drawing theme parks  by imagining his own rides, and making haunted houses. Also, he liked to make a haunted house in his garage and make his neighbors go through it.

Favorite thing to do in his free time: He likes to read a lot and has a goal to read 25 books a month, he likes to work out, and record  music. 

Favorite Colors: Blue, Beige, and Green

Favorite Sport: Does Not have a favorite sport, but he booked a week at a snowboarding camp for adults to learn how to snowboard. 

Favorite Book: Sweet Thursday,  by John Steinbeck 

Favorite Movie: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and Peter Pan

Where did you go to school( For College)?   Stony Brook, Long Island, and many different  schools. 

Favorite Food:   Japanese food 

Dream vacation: Japan or Sweden 

Why do you like teaching:  He said, “Connecting With Students.” 

What did you want to be when you were a kid?   He wanted to be an Imagineer for Disney.

 

Do you have kids?  He has no kids, but has two  cats, Jack and Daniel; they are his feline children.

What is your favorite genre of books?  Paranormal-Nonfiction-Murder Mystery 

What is your favorite  genre of music?   70’s pop 

What is your favorite song?   Should I Laugh or Cry?  by Abba

What is your favorite cafeteria food? Jello ( not in our school cafeteria) 

What is your favorite sports team?  Does Not have one 

Anything else you would like us to know about? Herr Strock is creative and likes to design things and to travel. He also likes to have small conversations with people and Herr Strock is an introvert. This what we learned about PFMS German Teacher, Herr Strock!
