As winter, hopefully, ends we enter the spring. And in the spring we have our spring sports. There are three spring sports:
Boys and Girls Track and Field: In track and field, there are plenty of different things to do. Including: relays, sprinting, long distance runs, throws, and jumping. The teams have meets against other places, and work together to win the meet.
Girls Softball: Then we have girls softball. Softball consists of hitting and fielding. Altogether, a team sport, which involves lots working together to play against other teams.
Girls Field Hockey: And lastly, we have girls field hockey. Field hockey is played by girls instead of boys, and in a field instead of ice. The main goal is to work with your teammates to score a goal on the other team.
If you haven’t signed up for a spring sport, come out and support these teams in their meets and games. And if any of these sports interest you, the physical date is past due, but you can join next year in 8th grade or high school. And 7th graders are allowed to join spring sports next year, if any of these appeal to you, try it!
