The Washington Commanders are playing the New York Giants on Sunday December 4th, 2022
This is a highly anticipated divisional match up late in 2022 the NFL season. Both teams have exceptional records with the Commanders at 7-5 and the Giants are sitting at 7-4. Both teams have had a season to remember, with the Commanders upsetting the number one Eagles in Philadelphia and with the Giants bouncing back after an atrocious season last year where they went 4-13. This game will be held in East Rutherford, New Jersey at MetLife Field with the Giants fan base roaring into the ears of the Commanders.
This is expected to be a very close and exciting game with the Commanders expected to win by only 1.5 points on the road. Both teams are expected to put up a combined 42 points, so it will be a high scoring affair with lots of points up on the scoreboard.
For the Commanders, Chase Young is questionable for this matchup with an ACL and MCL injury that limited him in practice. Also, Carson Wentz is still on injured reserve with a finger injury, and the Commanders will stick with Taylor Heinicke for this matchup. On the Giants side, four of their offensive lineman are out for the week 12 matchup and will be questionable for week 13 play, with a toe, knee and two neck injuries that will sideline them.
No matter what the outcome this will be a great matchup with lots of points and action.
