As most Penn State football fans know, 6 year starting quarterback Sean Clifford is a senior. That means that there will be another quarterback starting next year for Penn State. There are multiple Quarterbacks that could start. One assumption could be that Drew Allar will start but you could be surprised with the competition he has, including Christian Veilleux. Drew Allar and Christian Veilleux have both made very good starts so far. First, we are going to talk about their comparisons. Drew Allar put up 27 for 43 in passes, 4 TDS, and 284 passing yards so far in his career.
On the other hand, Christian Veilleux has put up 22 for 34, 3 TDS, and 275 passing yards so far in his career. Both have put up good performances. Here is my final decision: Christion Veilleux based on the stats has not performed on the highest level and I would think Penn State would want to use him as a strong backup. So in conclusion, I believe Drew Allar will start next season.
