The White Out by Grant Potoczny
The White Out is the biggest Penn State game of the regular season, this is the big one coming up. The game is a little different this year, so let’s get to it.
This year Penn State’s opponent is not the regular Ohio State or Michigan, it is Iowa. Iowa is a team who is 3-0, but beating nobody teams such as Utah State, Iowa State, and Western Michigan. Beating Utah St. 24-14, Iowa St. 20-13, and Western Michigan 41-10. Iowa has been showing really good defense, but has a slow offense. Again all of these teams are not very good, and Penn State can play some actual football. Iowa has also been playing at their home stadium and their crowd is insane.
Penn State has been having a good season so far, but also has been playing some very mediocre teams. Though Penn State unlike Iowa has been blowing these teams out of the water. Like West Virginia 38-15, Delaware 63-7, and finally Illinois 30-13. They also have some very notable offensive players such as Drew Allar and Nicholas Singleton. Penn State also has the home field advantage, and this is not just any home game, this is the White Out. This means this is when the crowd is the loudest it ever is. I believe that Penn State will win by 18 points.
