On February 9, 2024 T.J Watt, defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers was robbed of the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Instead, it went to Myles Garrett, defensive end for the Cleveland Browns—who in fact had less stellar stats across the board then Watt did.
Let’s look at the facts. Here is an across the board side-by-side statistical comparison.
Don't just take my word for it, take countless articles and sports reporters calling the NFL out for this garbage. News sites such as Bleacher Report, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Behind the Steel Curtain are all backing up Watt for this horrendous decision made by Roger Goodell and his team of script-writers.
Not his first time getting snubbed though, he went through this in 2020 when he tied the single season sack record with 22.5 and still was not selected NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
But everybody knows the truth, so if the NFL still decides to snub T.J Watt again next year it will mean nuclear action.
