Our Top 10 School Lunches (Opinion) by Aidan Murphy and Lance Petrich

April 8, 2025

Hey you. Yeah you. Are you on the fence as to whether or not to pack or buy lunch? Well, make sure you don’t choose wrong with this handy list! (Opinion, not surveys or research involved).

10. Turkey Bowl

Biggest meal, so it’s great if you’re hungry. But sometimes when it all mixes together it gets a little hard to enjoy. Only available through December typically.

9. BBQ Chicken

A little dry and hard to eat, but still a solid choice.

8. Golden Brown Big Daddy’s Pizza

When the pizza is cooked just right, it’s surprisingly good, however when it’s not, the cheese is tough and bad.

7. Two Soft Tacos

A great choice, even before adding toppings.

6. Italian Dunkers

A classic that you can’t go wrong with, but a little underwhelming at times, especially when the cheese runs out of the sticks and gets stuck on the paper food boat.

5. Spicy Chicken Sandwich

A better version of the regular chicken sandwich. It should be a permanent addition to the sandwich line.

4. Mandarin Orange Chicken

While similar to General Tso’s, it shares its incredible tastiness.

3. Baked Pasta

Genuinely good food, I love the cheese and meat combined with the pasta.

2. Pre-nerf Chicken and Waffles

They used to be easily one of the best, until they changed the chicken to erasers.

1. General Tso’s Chicken

A fan favorite, everyone loves when this is lunch.
