Well, you guys enjoying these daily lists? I hope so. I’m hoping to get at least 10 more articles out this month. Difficult? Definitely. Anyway, next week I’ll attempt to get at least 4 articles out. Anyways, let’s start with a team that isn’t terrible but won’t win the Super Bowl for a while.
Baltimore Ravens: Offense.
Now, the tides have turned. Normally the defense is the problem, but the defense is ranked 13th. Not bad. But the offense is just 24th. No Super Bowl for them.
Washington Redskins: Even points.
You see, in the NFL, you can only win if you have at least one more point than the other team. Most Super Bowl contenders can beat opponents with a touchdown or two to spare. But, this also shows up on the stat sheet, where you can see that some teams, such as the 5-0 Kansas City Chiefs, have a point differential of +10. But, the Redskins point differential is only +0.6, so. Basically, the team, using those numbers, would lose to any team that has a +0.7 point differential or higher, which is a lot of teams. The team can’t do too well at scoring more than the opponent.
New Orleans Saints: Defense.
The offense is great. Statistically, a top 10 team. But, defense is not very good. You can’t rely on just offense.
Seattle Seahawks: Offense.
Same words, different team. The Seahawks are good. But, the defense is only ranked 10th. Not very good for the Legion of Boom. The offense, though, is straight up average. The Seahawks offense is ranked 15th. The players of that Super Bowl 48 win are getting old or are gone from the team. Legion of Boom’s explosion is no longer a nuke’s, but will slow down to a firecrackers in a few years. Too old and offense is too average.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Offense.
So, Pittsburgh has the 3 killer B’s and a top 5 offensive line. What is their rank? 18th. 18TH! But the defense is ranked 5th. But this offense is losing the turnover battle and can’t produce much when they have the ball. And, they play terrible against terrible teams, so.
Houston Texans: Inconsistent defense.
This one is true. I’ll tell you the scores and put the opponent’s scores in bold: 29-7, 13-9, 33-36, 14-57, and 42-34. This offense is consistently above 30 points a game this season, but the defense is what the problem is, leaving the Texans at what right now is a record of 2-3.
Tennessee Titans: Turnovers and defense.
The Titans aren’t living up to the hype, as far as stats go. The turnover differential is -2nd their defense is just 26th in the league. The offense is ranked 17th, just below average. Just not good at all.
Minnesota Vikings: Offense.
Well, guys, I hope you guys have enjoyed this list. I hope the list was worth your time. Anyways, the offense is not very good to begin with, but now they have lost Dalvin Cook. And, when Teddy Bridgewater does come back, maybe he isn’t the player he once was. And, even if he doesn’t come back, their starter would be average quarterback Sam Bradford. So, great defense, below average offense.
Well, that’s the end of the list! The next list will be with you within a week.
