State High Football Set to Play at Beaver Stadium by Michael Powell

The State College High School football games are a fun experience for families and students of all ages from around the State College area, even at the South Track at State High, a field with not many bleachers and a different feel from a stadium.  But when you take a State High football game and put it in a loud environment like Beaver Stadium, that’s a different story.

Announced on September 25, 2019, State High will be playing at Beaver Stadium, home of the Penn State Nittany Lions football team, on October 26, 2019, against Cumberland Valley High School.  Tickets are $10 and are available at the Bryce Jordan Center on October 1, 2019 until game day.

Cumberland Valley has a very historically good football program. This will be an awfully hard game for State High, but hopefully the environment behind them will help.

Overall, this will be a surreal experience for the players and they will be able to play in a famous stadium.  I really hope all of them get the best out of it. That being said, it would be nice to get a win. We need you to come and cheer on the students.  This would make the environment loud and proud with State High fans, and intimidating CV!

Hope to see you there!
